The mission of Penelope House is to provide safety, protection, and support to the victims of Domestic Violence and their children through the provision shelter, advocacy, and individual and community education.
WILMER HALL CHILDREN’S HOME
Wilmer Hall serves children and young adults through several programs that provide tutoring, on-campus living, and other tools needed to succeed. Wilmer Hall currently has five programs: The Residential Program, the Transitional Living Program, the Transitional Family Program, the on-campus after-school education program (called Education4Life), and the Community-Based Education Program.
Founded in 2007, McKemie Place is the only overnight shelter for single, homeless women in all of Mobile, Washington and Baldwin Counties. McKemie Place is a safe haven for homeless women. We currently have a 69-bed capacity and provide a place for women to temporarily stay overnight.

Healing At A Deeper Level
Using Scuba Diving as part of our Adventure Based Peer Support Program - Helping 2 Overcome - is able to help our Veterans, Active Duty Members, First Responders, and their Family members in an outside of the clinic atmosphere. Peer Support is a vital part in recovery and healing. Through Adventure Based Peer Support Programs such as Helping 2 Overcome we work to engage and build confidence in our participants through peer-to-peer guidance and encouragement.
